So it is my last day in Hong Kong and I still haven't found my bag. Everything is in my bag, my whole wallet, passport, phone and camera. I am so depressed today. I still can't believe I had lost my bag. Its bizarre. I got in contact with family back at home and broke the news, I knew the would be worried about me like crazy. But I need documentation sent to me. I am flying out to Bali tomorrow, but it looks like I can't do that right now because I have no passport. I went back to the last club I was at last night and asked if they found a bag - nothing. So eventually, I went to Wan Chai police station and reported it. My phone was still ringing which I don't understand why. Anyone who picks up a bag would immediately turn off the phone but strangely my phone was still ringing. There was still hope and I believe in good karma. I hadn't cancel any cards because I was really positive about locating my bag. I stayed in all day thinking about my bag, it was so depressing. Anyways, I logged onto Facebook and got in contact with a DJ friend and told him about the news, he was my lifesaver and it was the happiest news I have ever heard. Apparently, I left my bag behind in the DJ booth and he gave it to the staff at Club 97 to hold it for me. After hearing that, I jumped out of bed and got changed and headed to Club 97 to pick up my bag. OMFG. I am very lucky that my bag landed in safe hands. Everything was in my bag - everything. So anyways, it was worth a celebration. I stayed in LKF for a few drinks. Went to Fly where I made friends with Cherry, a local Hong Kong girl who we hung out for a bit with. I was taking it really easy tonight and really limiting my intake of alcohol because I had a flight to catch tomorrow, so I was being extremely good. Being so cheeky, I stole a bottle of absolute vodka and poured some into our drinks before being noticed by the bar staff. Oops. I even asked them to wait for us to take a photo before returning it. We went back to Club 97 to say our last goodbyes and thank you to the staff there before making my way to Wan Chai's Bar 109 with Babes - a floor staff of Club 97. Babes is of phillippines background who lives in Hong Kong and married with two gorgeous kids. We hung out for a bit and I went home still sober :).
Today was probably the most happiest day of my life during this trip, because I had found my bag with everything intact. I am super lucky and honestly, a note to everyone - you must believe in karma. I'm glad I haven't done anything wrong to deserve any sort of punishment. I am grateful for everything and everyone around me. It was promised that when I return to Hong Kong in August, Babes will cook me a nice meal at her place. I'm looking forward to it. I have a flight to catch tomorrow so I am finally calling it a night.
Good night world.
XOXO
